In a release last week, Veeam announced it has been acquired by Insight Partners, a technology and software investment firm.
By collaborating with partners like IT Vortex, Veeam offers the best in backup and recovery services to enterprise clients. The company’s model, which has played a prominent role in their success over 14 years, stands to provide for customers by collaborating with other companies offering only the best in technical services and support.
With the new acquisition comes a change in strategic leadership. Bill Largent has assumed the role of CEO of Veeam, after being promoted from Executive Vice President. In the release, Largent said the next round of services to implement alongside the leadership change will take the company into the hybrid cloud domain.
Largent said, “I’d like to reassure you that there will be no change in our day-to-day operations, and we continue to be 100% committed to partners’ success. It’s business as usual, only now we will have a greater opportunity to ensure we continue to innovate and deliver the solutions and support you have come to expect from everyone at Veeam.”
